Project
"It has been years since I had a good soup in the winter."
"I can't recall the last time I ate a hot meal before I came to Chasadi Naomi's meal center."
"I wait every day to get to the meal center that gives me everything I need."
We receive these testimonies every day from participants in Chasadi Naomi's meal center, which opened this month in the city of Netanya in Israel.
Every day, about 80 Holocaust survivors, lonely elderly people, as well as ten refugees fleeing the inferno in Ukraine, come to the meal center to receive a hot and fresh meal, a listening ear, and company. English, painting, sculpture, and other enrichment classes are also offered
Most of the elderly that coming in to the meal center are Holocaust survivors who testify that the place gives them a reason to get up in the morning and leave the house a little for a few hours that keep them in a good mood all day.
We invite you to join us in operating the meal center for Holocaust survivors and the elderly who are lonely.
Each donation will be accompanied by a sealed receipt emailed to you. You may also check your spam/junk box if you did not receive a receipt. If you did not receive a receipt, please contact Chasadi Naomi hotline by calling toll-free: 1800-677-777 or by email: [email protected].
